It has begun. The 2014 Michigan butterfly season got off to a blistering start. As expected, Eastern Commas were the first butterfly of the season for many of us. Followed shortly there after by Mourning Cloaks. There have even been reports of Red Admirals. Wait! Red Admirals. That's not right. Maybe they do over winter in Michigan in some years.
It won't belong before Spring Azures,duskywings and elfins are out and about.
