On May 16th, I made the 1 hour and 40 minute trip over to Allegan SGA for Frosted Elfins. My son David saw a few Frosted Elfins a couple of days prior, so I had to make the trip.
It took about 30 minutes of wandering through the area before I saw the first of three Frosted Elfins.
One of three seemed to be egg laying.
Frosted Elfins are classified as a threatened species in Michigan and can not be collected without a permit.
