It is 2013. No butterflies are on the wing in Michigan right now, but that does not mean we should apply the sang "out of sight, out of mind". There is still plenty to think about during the cold days of winter.
This time of year I am thinking about my garden. How can I improve it to draw more butterflies. In 2013, adding host plants for swallowtails and skippers seems like a good project. We'll see how that turns out.
