The backyard has been busy lately. About a dozen species have visited this past week.
The Butterfly Bush has been blooming for a couple of weeks, along with Black Eyed Susan's, mallow, Cardinal Flower and Purple Coneflower.
Will be headed north in a week or so. Hope to pick up Green Comma and Common Branded Skipper for my Michigan lifelist.

  1. Lovely! It's been swallowtail city for us this year. Not high numbers, but that's what we keep seeing. Haven't seen as many commas or morning cloaks, but we did get a Polyphemus a few weeks ago. Good luck on your life list!
