Michigan Butterfly Spreadsheets

Hi Folks
Have been busy compiling spreadsheets for species seen in each county in Michigan. I have divided Michigan in to 5 regions. Upper peninsula being one region and lower peninsula being divided quarterly. Each quarter contains about 18 counties. The UP has 15 counties.

In the meantime, total number of species is dwindling as we progress towards late Fall. Most days about 10 species are seen.

Here are a few recent shots from the backyard. The Variegated Fritillary is nice because it show a spot in the right cell along the leading edge, while the opposite cell does not. Pretty cool stuff.
